Taxi services in the city are a boon in today's time as these make commuting within and outside the city easy and hassle-free.
I stayed for 6 nights in a hut January 2019. The hut was very clean and the owner's cleaned the hut on request. The hut had a clean bathroom. Hot water buckets were available in the morning for free. There was good Wi-Fi provided. The guest house is 2 minutes walk from the beach on the opposite side of the road from the beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Agonda accommodation seemed more pricey this year (2019) and the price was around 1700 rupees a night. Abba's also has air con rooms. The owner's are friendly and helpful. I'd stay again.
Abba's is fantastic, I can't rate it high enough. The accommodation is basic, clean and comfortable. We had a bungalow which doesn't have AC but comes with a fan and mosquito net, which is a godsend compared to other places we have visited. There are also rooms that do have AC - these are more expensive they are also larger rooms. The bungalows are spacious and have a private bathroom. Fabian, his family and staff are very nice people with nice smiley faces. They can't do enough for you and happily answer any questions. Mopeds can also be hired for a good price here as well as your laundry can be done. The grounds are well maintained with nice plants and seated areas. All round it's a little gem of a place in paridise. We will definitely be back.
As soon as we checked in here we were made to feel most welcome. Fabian the owner and his mum Rosie and the two boys could not have done enough for us and whenever we needed anything from where to shop to eat or just advice they were always there for us even more so now that we are returning in January to spend another two weeks in this lovely place called Abbas glory land. Thanks again guys for the most pleasant of stays. Love Lee and Kate Turnbull.

We stayed here for one week in December. We really enjoyed the hospitality shown to us by all of the staff and management. It was a relaxing place to stay - it felt like being at home, especially getting the special Christmas cakes on Christmas Day, thank you for this! It was quiet and the other guests were very respectful of each other. The location is very good, only 2 minutes to access the beach through a short walkway. This end of the beach seemed relatively quieter and more relaxing than the rest of the beach, which was nice for us. There were two convenience shops and an alcohol shop directly outside the gate. The wooden beach huts were spacious, clean and well maintained. I really appreciated the metal lockable cupboard with lockable safety box inside - there was always a staff member on site which made it feel safe too. The price that we paid was very affordable considering it was a high peak week for the tourist season, you do get very good value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is a natural bay surrounded by lofty headlands on either sides, resulting in a calm, idyllic sea which allows you to walk up to 100 m out from the beach.
